TC Outing @ Sentosa 050109

Went to Sentosa with my fellow instructors... Went to the beach. When we were there, we saw mani little kids playin games, guess it was their orientation. The once long beach become veri limited due to the space taken up by the students havin their orientation and oso due to the structures that are stil left behind aft the beach countdown party. Initially, we were playin in front of some large rocks where we put our bags. After a while, the volleyball court was empty and we wanted to play there, but we were stopped and got to learnt that we haf to actualli rent the court before playin. It is $26/hr, as we got like 12 ppl so each of us payin $2 is still bearable. We played for almost 3 hours and mani of us were jumpin around due to the hot sand. Wonder why is it so HOT when it is juz early jan....

After that went to Food Republic @ Vivo for lunch! We then went to Mount Faber SAFRA for pool. Haha was happi that my skills improved a little little... Played there for around 3 hours before heading back to Im Seah Hawker Centre for dinner.

We then decided to go play LAN. We haf no luck for the first shop we went as we haf to spilt up. We then went to the second shop, finally we can play. Went to play Left 4 Dead!!! It's a realli cool game that will keep ur adrenaline rushing and engaged! It tests a lot on teamwork too!

Had a fun and tiring day!!!

Stuck on Online Games this Festive Season

Happyville is again opened this year during this festive season!!! But this year, i didnt get to meet Santa there, but his parttimer, Dasoms is there! We can actualli go hunt for Rascal's snowpieces to exchange for gifts. To enter this house is nt an easy task too, as Christmas is a time for parties and nothing beats attending a dress-up party organized by Santa himself, so we must haf the transformation potion before being able to be allowed in!

Went to the Asiasoft Carnival held on the 26th Dec and bought the Audition DVD set. Inside, it contains 2 codes, one for the DJ deck and the other for a pet, Floral JimJim. Wah veri long nvr touch this game alr... so a bit rusty but it was nice to see so mani changes and mani nice songs added in, including songs by JJ Lin and BY2!

Ahhhhhhh chooo... look at all the dust here! LOL Phew it's been a long time since i haf blogged... Been either so busy or that my life was rather routine so didnt manage to blog.

The 2406 lamers met up ytd at Punggol Park for bbq!!! Hmm it was nice to see mani familar faces but it's a regret nt to b able to see some of the others as they already haf sometink on that day. Invited Chanel & Meng Jiat too for the bbq since they noe Jia Hui (their hall and course mate), Yu Ling (through NUS Pharmaceutical Camp) and Crystal (their sec sch fren)! Izzit it a small world?

It's been a long time since i attended a bbq! Was so fun! Especially seeing overtink, from the startin of fire, til the slow cookin and we were like sayin hw hungry we were, til the strong fire that almost burn the whole otah away! LOL it's certainly fun!!!

Managed to catch up wif mani of them and noe that they are doin fine is a nice tink to hear too!

Celebrated my birthday at Manhattan Fish Market at Plaza Singupura wif 3 good frens that took their precious time out despite their exams nearing to celebrate my bdae!

I'm realli overjoyed when they sang me a birthday song among the crowd in the restuarant! It's realli brave of them!!! Thank You for the wallet too! It was realli timely to recieve the wallet as i'm tinkin of changing one! And ya!!! Of cos, the ice cream cake too!!! Haha it's been realli a long looooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnggggggggg time since i ate an ice cream cake!!! Haha it was nice acting out there, sayin u all nid to go toilet but instead go and buy the cake!!! Hehe thanks!!!

I know that ur exams are nearing so yup all the best to u all!!! Hope we can meet up again aft ur exams!!! :P

Lunch @ Auntie's House & 20th Century Boys Outing

Went to my camp's cleaning auntie house for lunch ytd! She had kindly invited all the current and ex-perm staff in BMT to her house for lunch! Despite her old age, she is veri jovial and cute! Haha... the most fun part is that although she cant remember our names, she will call all of us 帅哥!!! She will also make it a point to walk to our front and wave to greet us every morning!!! So nice of her!!! Look at the spread that she prepared for us! Must have took her lotsa efforts and time!!!

After that, I went to Plaza Singapura to meet up with Simon & Yu Ling. We watched 20th Century Boys!!! The back part of the movie was veri exciting filled with action and the little girl Hanna was so cute!!! She took the train all the wait bac to find his uncle Kenji! The movie was rather long, we started watching at 6pm and it ended around 8.45pm! We then had dinner at Pizza Hut! Look at the Large Orlean Chicken pizza we ordered!! Was SUPER FULL when we finished our dinner!!! The pizza is realli nice:D

I'm invited to haf house-visiting with some of my friends in collaboration with Hari Raya!!! We first net up at Lydia's house for lunch!!! The food there was delicious and thanks Lydia to remind ur parents nt to cook the food too spicy! Her dad then fetched us to Shameera's house.

We ate some finger food and chat around, kinda like being in MacDonald's and talking to friends!!! It's so funni seeing the great appetite of Suhaimi!!!

We then went to Suhaimi's house!!! He was so funni as he introduced each of his festive cookies to us, like the name of the cookies, who made it, the ingredients, etc. Too quite some photos there and his house suddenly become like a photo studio! LOL we then chat around before Shameera haf to rush off to meet her friend!!!

It was a fulfilling day as I get to meet mani classmates that i haven met for a long time and oso it brings bac the memories of house-visiting 2 yrs bac!!

Met up with Lydia todae at Jurong East MRT Stn!!! We then went to IMM for lunch. Had Catch of the Day with lobster sauce at Secret Recipe! Wow it was nice and the price was reasonable! It was realli nice to meet Lydia aft such a long while!

We then walked around to find Sandhya's bdae pressie!!! We finally decided on a cute wallet as Lydia recalled that she needed one! Happy Birthday Sandhya!!! :)

We shopped ard aft that... Lydia managed to find a blouse she was looking for and bought it aft much consideration!!! She was realli happi buyin it!!! (To Lydia: Dun tel ur mum i CONVINCED u to buy ah... i merely ADVISED!!! LOL)

I then went to Plaza Singapura to meet Qin Lei!!! Sorrie was late agn and i was stuck in the jam! Sorrie to make u wait... Haha bt i had a great time talkin to Qin Lei as we update each other on our recent happenings! We then went to walk ard as i haven been shoppin for quite sme time!!! Qin Lei also treat me the chewy donut!!! Super nice!!! Thanks lots!!! :p

Had a fulfilling day todae!!! Tml goin bac to camp!!! So fast and my leave has ended! Lookin forward to Jalan Rayaing on Sat!!!

As I'm having leave today i was tinking of dropping by NTU to visit some of my frens there! Went to Chanel and Meng Jiat's room, wow it was so cosy!!! Chanel introduced me her little horse plushie! We chatted for a while before Jia Hui joined us after her OG dinner!

I then went to the other hall to look for my secondary school frens!!! It was a loonnnnggg journey... ... bt luckily i did not took much trouble before finding the hall! LOL they were like suanning me whenever there is an opportunity bt we talked quite a bit as I learnt more about their uni courses!

Today is a fruitful day despite having to take cab home as there are no public transport available le!

*Cough cough.... It's been a while since i updated my blog, guess it's a little dusty here! Been busy with tryin to adapt to my new unit - im posted to the navy!!! Yea!!! Hahaha was realli happi to be there, wif mani of my senior colleagues takin great care of me and they are realli bonded together, not to mention they are realli funni ppl!

Have been honoured to be invited to my Coxswain's baby 1st month celebration last sat!!!

On last Sunday, I went for the Commanders' Dinner as one of our superior was posted to another unit, so it's like a farewell dinner for him. That is where i met mani of the other commanders in the camp! The food there was nice but the wine was like -_-'' haha bt cant complain cos it's complimentary... LOL! Will realli miss Commander IMOS!!! I tink he is realli a nice person despite meetin him for a couple of days before he is leavin... Hope he will enjoy his stay in his next unit!

Boys Over Flowers Final Movie Outing @ Cineleisure 06092008

Went lunching wif Papa Qin Lei and Mama Meng Jiat ytd at Shokudo Restaurant! It's been so long since i met Qin Lei le... Managed to pass her the 'dizi' i bought from Taiwan.. haha but somehow realised it wasn't realli a dizi and too short to be a xiao -_-'' Qin Lei is so nice as she prepared gifts for us! It's filled wif sweeties like puddings and chocolates! I and Qin Lei met up wif Meng Jiat at Cine itself... haix still didnt managed to reach there earlier than mama.. haf to make her wait again... Sorry!

We ate at the Japanese Pasta and Pizza restaurant... been waiting to try the food for a long time as i didnt know that Japan also haf her own style of Spaghetti too! Somehow the spaghetti has a hint of seaweed taste and the coolest tink is that there's a half-boiled egg on top of the dish, adding on to the flavour of the white sauce!

We then had dessert! It was nice too! Wif red bean and chestnuts as topping, green tea as flavouring and mochi too! Nice!

After gobbling the icy cold dessert, we rushed to watch Boys Over Flowers (花より男子 Hana yori Dango) as we were running late! Happened to meet Chanel on the lift itself! Haha so coincidental! We collected our popcorns and head to the theatre! Phew luckily we made it in time as the Coming Soon movie preview ended seconds later... Overall the show is great as it's funni how Domyoji keep saying wrong jap and it's veri touching too!

When i was tapping my ez link card, i was stopped by the ppl there as they wanted to take a photo of me donating (for the Singapore Record i heard) LOL and Chanel was like suddenly disappear to a corner, leaving myself there...

We continue walking ard Taka before deciding to head home as it's dinner time soon! As I went to the 1st floor, I saw THEM!!! They were introducing their artwork for this comestic brand i guess...

Met up wif some of my 2406 classmates ytd for lunch! Went to JustNoodles for lunch and the place brought bac so much memories to us as we were talking abt last time where we sit, the tinks we haf done, how fun we were last time... it's certainly an experience that i wont forget and will cherish forever! Hmmm but it was sad that only crystal and shiang yng can make it while the rest are bz (the girls wif their schoolwork and NS for the boys)... I took the chance to give them the little gifts i bought bac frm taiwan, hope they will like it! Thanks Crystal for making up the time to meet, despite having lotsa readings to read thru and an assignment that is due on that day itself! Same to Shiang Yng too, have to change the date of sizing up her scuba diving equipments and rushed to meet us aft giving remedial! Thanks guyz!!! :)

After which, I met mog and Meng Jiat! It's a long time since i haf seen them! As the rest of the clique haf their own schedule, i didnt get to see them. As usual Chanel & Meng Jiat are as hyped up as ever! They are like so addicted to the camera and they were taking pictures so often!!! Had fun at Carl's Jr watching the expressions of Chanel as Meng Jiat was filming her on Chanel's handphone! Haha i passed them the gifts i brought from taiwan too! So i felt like Santa Claus for the day!! Hope they like it and I certainly hope that I can meet up wif the clique nxt wk or so!!!

Later went to Comex wif my dad! Oh gosh the number of ppl there was like tens of thousands!!! Just imagine the exhibition was spread ard like 4 floors and yet it is still crowded!! Arghhh had a had time passing thru them! Brought an MP3 player as the previous one had crashed.... sobz still miss the previous one as the functions it has realli suit my needs but there's no more stock... But yup im still contented wif my new player and I will certainly take good care of it!

Met Jia Hui in the morning at Northpoint Mac for breakfast ytd!
It's been a rather long time since i do so mani tinks...
1. Set my foot on Northpoint (which i do daily during sec sch time as my sch is nearby)
2. Eat Mac for breakfast
3. Saw Jia Hui (Hmm... it's been 5 months alr!!! Shocking!!!)

We were updating each other on what we haf done for the past months and was surprised to realise she noe mogclique ppl as they are stayin in the same hall and in the same course! It is realli a small world indeed!!! Came to hear that uni lessons schedule can be quite packed and the pace was rather fast.. ohh no! Muz go revise b4 goin uni if nt sure 0.0 in the lectures!!!

After that had to go to sentosa for my Happy Hour!!! Took a bus there bt it end up slower than the train! -_-'' In the end was ard 30mins late, luckily most ppl were too, so it's nt that bad...

Hmm aft that i went bac to Northpoint to meet Nadine! LOL cos she wanted to visit Northpoint so haha yup i gt ZERO displacement after breakfast! Went to Swensons for ice-cream!!! Nice to hear from her the various happenings bac in NYJC! The J2s are having their study break for prelims le JIA YOU!!! We then went to the arcade and played LAN too cos Nadine decided she nid a little time off from studies... After that had dinner at the foodcourt and i saw a realli cool dish => Ribena Fried Rice!!! Haha wonder what it taste like! Didn't try it thou...

Setting off for taiwan!!! It will be a midnight flight!!! It's been a long time since i took a plane. Kinda having mixed feelings nw as this is the first time i travel without the company of my family!

I will be going for 3 weeks...

Went to Ang Mo Kio kbox todae wif Chanel, Meng Jiat and Qin Lei! Dotz i was late again!!! Cant believe it as i told myself i will go early today as i noe they will be early de... but somehow i was stuck on my computer doing the tag meng jiat sent me and i didn't expect it to take that much time. So sorrie guyz! Met u all wait for me again! Hope i make it up to u al with the bubble teas!!! This time was rather unique as the songs we sang are not the common ones we sing so we get to hear songs that are nice but we rarely hear them. This brings about some memories too!

0635 Class BBQ @ Pasir Ris 19072008

Went for 0635 Class BBQ Outing on Sat!!! It was nice to see so mani familar faces around as it is realli difficult to organize such a big-scaled event due to each of us having our own commitments! Hmm but the only small regret is that not that whole class was there.

However the weather was realli bad that day as it rained and stopped and rained again! In the end, we haf to use our umbrellas to shelter the pit so we can continue bbq-ing! It was a funni sight and mayb that's to test our class bondedness! The food taste rather well considering that they were prepared on the spot (except for the part that the squids and chicken wings are wash in erm.. the toilet sinks... LOL) mayb that's wad adds to the flavour! -.-'' Haha but it was funni to see how proud Lydia was as she keep mentioning that she was one of those, together with Chanel & Qin Lei who prepare the squids!

We went off rather early, at ard 930pm as most of us were tired... Realli hope that we can come together again soon and will continue on even if everyone of us embarks on a new journey in life!

Went to kbox @ Cineleisure last sat!!! As mani of us haf commitments in the aftnoon, we can only make it at nite so we sang kbuffet since we are intending to eat dinner oso and the package for kbuffet is more worth! Shiang Yng came at only 9pm as she got to teach tuition earlier so she decided to meet us aft we sang finish, thus only crystal, glenn and me were at kbox.

With mani mani friends from both sides dancing in the ballroom, chatting or strolling along the beach... and of cos lotsa lotsa food!!! Including chiefs to cook for us, chocolate steamboat, japanese, western and chinese cuisines!!! That will realli be cool!!!

Not really. Although I cant predict the future but im quite sure of what i would like to do in the future.

5. What is your ideal lover like?
Wow that will be a realli loooonnnnnnnnnnngggggggg list!!! LOL juz jk! :p I would like someone that realli understand me so much so that a little gesture by me and she will noe what im thinkin (quite hard to find eh!?) and also someone that will make me smile when i see her and most importantly one that is kind!

Being loved by someone i guess? At least u noe that someone in the world sees something in you that makes u special. I guess thats a bliss for me!!!

Had picnic at Vivo todae!!! Went to the Supermart to buy some tibits and we take away food to vivo's amphitheater to eat! Haha a cool idea isn't it? There we can see people from different walks of life, we can see people choreographing dances, chatting, playing games and even sleeping on the benches!!! Most of us bought Carl's Jr, the serving was like wow and we took a long time to finish the food and Shiang Yng ate laksa! Shiang Yng bought cheesecake and brownies that were baked by her to share wif us! So nice of her rite!!! We chatted a while and then resume our 'battle' last wk, of playing DJMax! LOL hmmm but my skill still lose to Shiang Yng's. We then went to the arcade! The air hockey was super fun!!! Unlike the normal 2 player one, this time its 4 players and there may be more than 1 disc on the table so we haf to watch out for them! We then played pool! Ohhh no... my skills were like so bad -_-'' Then we finally got the chance to play After Burner! So cool, it's like im fighting in a fighter plane! The game is veri realistic!

Went to Suntec Convention Center todae with Meng Jiat & Qin Lei todae! Saw mani anime, comics fans. Was amazed at how daring teenagers are as they cosplay as their favourite anime character such as Ichigo (Bleach), Kakashi (Naruto), Athrun (Gundam Seed), etc... The hall was so packed and we haf to squeeze our way through.

Ytd met up wif some of my 1st 3 months 2406 classmates! It's been almost 4 months since we met. However some are unable to come as they alr haf sth on, so in the end, i managed to meet Crystal, Shiang Yng, Simon and Yu Ling! Went to Jurong Entertainment Center. Initially wanted to go ice-skating but as some of us didnt noe how to skate and we do not dress properly to skate, we decided to catch a movie instead! Watched 'Wanted' It was a movie full of mani twists and it's realli action packed esp how the shoot so that the bullet will curl. We then went to the arcade. Played Initial D, Simon was like so pro lah... keep losing to him de. After that went to IMM and walk around. We then go to Secret Recipe for desserts and we wanted to haf a chat but in the end, all of us are so engrossed in DJMax and we were playing Shiang Yng's and my PSP! LOL We decided to go off when the restuarant is like closing. Look forward to our nxt wk's picnic!!!

Ytd class dinner was cancelled due to ppor attendence... I was rather sad as that means I will haf to wait till the other time before I get to see my classmates. But thankfully met up with Lydia todae for breakfast! Had hotcakes with Sausage! Yea everytime i will haf a craving for Hotcakes, esp with the maple syrup! We then chat with each other the happenings during this period of time!

Then met up with Chanel, Meng Jiat and Qin Lei at AMK hub for lunch and movie! We went to Ichiban to eat and something funny happened! We were chatting then we noticed that there was a cute boy sitting next to our table, we ecided to play with him and suddenly we hear ' Look, the koko and jiejie so blur one' and we were like 'Huh!?!' We looked up and to our amazement saw Mrs Tan, our bio teacher! Haha so coincident and we like didnt notice her for so long!

Had chicken steamboat for lunch!

We then went to watched Kungfu Panda!!! It was realli hilarious and till now there are still alot of people watchin and we are seatin near the front despite buyin our tickets rather early! Hmm but we missed the front part as my steamboat was too hot! Sorry guyz...

Went out with my section ytd to Marina Square to catch Hulk movie! It was a nice trip as most of my section mates turned up and it was the first section outing we have. We then went to play pool, which is something im rather poor with. After that, we went to Han's for dinner! Had apple pie and chicken pie for dinner! It's veri nice! We then walked around and played arcade! Play mani shooting games and i guess all the training i haf made me shoot better in the games! Played After Burner Climax, it was realli fun and i haf a feel of how a pilot is like, where the seat will turn when u maneuver the fighter plane! We played until rather late b4 we decided it's time for us to go home!

Went to Vivocity ytd wif Simon! It's been a realli long time since we had met! We went to the arcade! Had great fun playin ghost squad (I guess all my training this while did help abit in being more tactical! LOL) and After Burner (a aircraft game - it was so cool as you get to be a fighter pilot and when u turn, the game seat actually turn as well, i like got dizzy in one of the map with ridges!) We then walk around looking at the new stuffs we missed during our training! Got to see Yu Ling too but met for only a while as she haf to rush to her family gathering! I later roam a while more to find my dad's pressie! Tot of buying a shirt for him but the price is too STEEP le! Finnally got him some import chocolates from Candy Empire!

Todae went to Marina Square for a while to shop at inbase! I guess im a victim of Great Singapore Sale as well! Haha bought like 2 jeans one shot! My family and I then went to my Grandpa house for celebration! This time they did not order any buffet or go out to eat as my grandma wanted to keep it simple... so we haf some dishes that she cooked. Although it is simple, but can taste the effort she put in in preparing the meal! Realli enjoyed grandma's cooking!!!

University Course Accepted!!!

Phew after a long self struggle.. finally decided to settle with NUS - Business Administration (Accountancy) and M.Science (Management).

NUS or NTU? It was realli a hard decision. Went to the open house of both schools and see how they talk about their niche and how they excel in the business arena makes it hard to decide. On one hand, NUS being a 'branded' university is well recognised globally and it is famous for its rich and vibrant campus life too! While NTU haf mani stats that shows how the students haf done well and haf a more structured learning pedagogy. But after much thought, I feel that the NUS offer is more attractive and practical as both of the degree will be veri helpful in my future career and it will definitely be a challenge and an eye-opener for me!!! Was realli appreciative that NUS gave me the chance of a double degree and I will definitely strive to live up to it!

Hmm had a long wkend this wk which is given as an off-in-lieu due to last wk training that took place over sat and sun. Hmm was expecting to go out wif frens but somehow all my frens seems to 'disappeared' as they are either busy working or they already haf some other plans.

Went to Suntec with my family on sat!!! Had Carl's Jr!!! It was realli fun and a nice experience to eat wif my family as it was quite sme time since we sat together on a round table and eat tgt due to our hectic schedules. Went to shop around and wow due to the Great Singapore Sales everywhere is having sales and mani stores were packed. Bought a new pair of running shoe, hope it can aid me in my long distance run during trainings! Went to Grandma's house after that, was realli surprise when i call to tell my grandpa that we are dropping by and to hear how happi they all, this realli reminds me to spend more time wif them!!!

As for todae, mainly stayed at home to clear the videos that I recorded dunno how mani centuries ago bt no time to watch. Hmm take this wkend for me to recharge ba... realli hope to meet up wif my frens in the subsequent wkends...

A busy Sunday!!!

Hmm juz got bac from home... Phew spent some time surfing the net before settling down to blog... Wow it is 2.30am now... Hmmm realli sleepy alr as i juz finished my training on Saturday. Had a hectic day todae as i practically went to all the 'town' areas while meeting mani ppl whom i haf not kept in touch for a long time! Although it was tiring and coupled wif my aching legs after the training, I feel that it was realli worth it and how i wish that time todae will pass slower or even not move at all!!!

Firstly had breakfast wif Lydia at our houses' nearby Mac! Haha it is like already our place where we will chat there! We exchanged the experiences we have during this period after not seeing each other for quite a long time! Also, I ate hotcakes which i had a craving for a long time bt haven had the chance to eat it yet! LOL

Next, went to Bugis to find my SUPER energetic and funny junior - May!!! Haha she was studying there and that reminds me the JC students are mugging for the mid years! It's realli fast and soon they will be like us taking the A levels!!! Still can rmb the time im studying for the mid years... hmm didnt managed to get the grades i wanted and almost fainted when i see my result slip which is filled with underlined or Ds and Es. That's when i told myself that i need to work hard from now and now im pretty glad that i haf quite achieved the standard that i aimed for! Realli relieved and thanks those who contribute to my good grades!!! :D

Finally, I went to VivoCity!!! The council is meeting to celebrate our 3rd birthday! (fast isn't it!!?!!) Hmm the council actualli met at around 10am to go Sentosa bt i can't meet them as i confirmed meeting Lydia and May earlier. Had a picnic where we take away food from vivo and went to the 3rd storey open complex to eat! It's realli a nice place wif cool sceneries. Haha had nt seen them for a long time as im unable to meet them due to clashing wif my training schedule. The tchers were there too as we chat about the happenings during this time and of cos the boys will be talking about the hottest topic nw - NS! LOL

Met up with Chanel, Meng Jiat and Yan See yesterday!!! As they haf a biomedical talk at NTU, we met at IMM for dinner! The 4 of us shopped around IMM, after that Yan See left as she got something on. We then went to Fish & Co for Dinner. I ordered the 'Best Fish & Chip in Town'! The serving was realli wholesome and the fish is realli fresh! Super Yummy!!! Haha we then ordered a Gigantic Drink called the 'Jungle Freze' where 3 of us shared!!!

Went to Vivo today to meet Lydia, Cheryl and Shameera!!! As mani 0635 peepz cant make it for Escape, we haf to cancel it. In the end, the 3 of them went to Sentosa. They played luge and go to the Underwater World! Haha i didnt join them as it's like so sudden and the admission ticket was rather ex... haha instead i went vivo earlier and walk around! Realli enjoed the walk, seeing ppl from all walks of life, the mani tinks available in the shops makes my heart itch, and the food they sell there too! (make me wnt to try all of them) I went to the 3rd floor open space to see the seaview, the wind was super cooling and i can see mani ppl having gatherings there, juz lyin on the floor listening to music, playin wif water, playin wif psp, chattin wif frens, etc! Haha make me feel like doing so too! Realli admire them!

We then went for dinner. Initially we wanted to go to Secret Recipe but it was full house so we went to Fig & Olive for dinner! (the one we went during sherry's bdae)

19042008 Nanyang JC 29th Achievement Day

Went back to Nanyang yesterday for a prize presentation ceremony for having good performance during the A levels!!! Was real excited that i can go back nanyang and look at the school environment and to see my juniors! Haha saw mani familar faces in the school, like Samantha, Jacqueline, Camelia, May, Nadine, my AI juniors, the 30th Council as well as my batch peepz!!! Had a chat wif Mr Alvin Tan, Mrs Lim too!!! Haha i guess the sweetest and cutest is Miss Seah as she walked from a study table to me and wave frantically at me and say 'HI!!!' and then she walk back to the table! Haha

It was also then that i realise the world is actualli quite small as ppl whom i nvr talked to in NY during my 2 years of my study time were actualli my frens in NS, such as Pravin (my platoon mate, section mate and my best buddy in BMT), Guo Yong (My platoon mate and have helped me alot in BMT too!) and Yong Hui (My platoon mate in BSLC).

So happi to see the 30th Councillors too as its realli been a long time and real sry that i couldnt attend the council camp sme time ago. Was glad to see that they are doing fine and they are steppin down soon on 20th May. Jia you for ur A levels!!!

After the ceremony, there is a performance by the CO, playing the tune ' Racing Horse'. Haha was quite interesting as the CO members are wearing western clothing while playin chinese instruments, sort of like East meets West. Next was the school song presented by the choir! It's been a super long time since i hear it le and they sort of change the melody and it's much nicer than the one i hear during assembly when im studyin.

Time realli flies.. with a flash of the eye my block leave is nearing to an end... I will prob miss this block leave as i dun tink i gt to enjoy such a long break agn in my service term!

Tml i will haf to report bac to camp, bt there are so mani differences as compared to previous book in, im nt going bac to Tekong, the ppl im meeting will be different. So now i kinda haf that kind of first day of school feeling. Dunno wad to expect, who will i see, how tough is the training, ...

Went to Orchard for lunch and k-ing with the 'mog' clique!!! Went to ThaiExpress for lunch as we couldn't find any jap food restaurants. Sorry mama meng jiat for being late, causing u haf to rush for ur food and then for ur theatrework. Sorry to the rest for making u guyz wait despite being hungry. I wont be late the next time le!!!

Had pineapple rice for lunch! Yum yum!!! Haha everyone enjoyed their food,,, except... ... haha i guess the papaya salad tast weird.. LOL

We then went to kbox. We were shocked when we stepped into the room! It was HUMONGOUS!!! A room that can accommodate 20 people wif 4 sofas!!! The most exciting is, we dun look at the tv for the MVs but we are looking at images from the projector!!! The room is well decorated too! It's realli a nice experience and can see mani of us jumpin ard the room and lying on the sofa when we gt into the room!!!

Had dinner at Swenson's with Sheng Ping, Chanel, Meng Jiat and Yan See!!! It's realli fun as we talked about the happenings during our holidays! Hmm but it was a rather short gathering and hope we can chat more the next time! After that, we went to walk around j8, with chanel trying to look for Qi Zhai! LOL

Received cookies baked by Chanel and Meng Jiat! Initially my expression was like -_-'' when Chanel handled me the cookies in a plastic bag and Sherry was like saying how come mine was not wrapped. But Chanel explained that our group had ours not wrapped to signify our bond and im realli touched!!! Hmm sorry for not being able to bake the cookies wif u guyz! The day is nearing wif mani signs showing that A Levels results are releasing such as receiving letters on how to register for University Admission by the universities, mani Open Houses and rumours from frens that they hear from thir tutors!!!

Family Outing L change the world 230208

My family and I went to Downtown East Sakura Resturant for a buffet!!! Haha nice treat after eating cookhouse for 2 weeks!!! There's mani varieties there like Dim Sim, sushi, western and chinese cuisine!!! Haha of cos there are mani desserts there too!!! I enjoyed eating all those desserts and had fun 'designing' my ice cream!!! Haha we were shocked when we realised that we ate for like 2hours there!

We then went to Tampines Mall for the movie: L change the world!!! The cinema was SUPER packed and we tot we were unable to watch the show due to the long queue to buy tickets! Haha but my dad haf a credit card that haf privileged access to book tickets and we like skipped so mani ppl queuing and bought our tickets!!!

The storyline was alrite and I guess the main focus was L's funni actions like how he typed on the computer and when he is babysitting the children! There's also mani bio terms in the show as it covers on bioterrorism. Realli liked the Death Note series!!! Hope to see more of it in the near future!!! Let's hope the next movie will come out real soon!!!

Wow it has realli been a long time since i haf updated my blog!!! Haha dun worry, im nt lost in the jungle or something.. but most of my time im in camp so there's nt much to blog about...

Hmmm 2 months haf passed since i haf enlisted, it's actualli quite fast and i actualli learn that Singapore's security is guarded by so mani soldiers that im nt aware of in the past. Haha so this makes me treasure my book out more!!! It's realli great to spend the time wif family and frens and also haf the time to idle!!! It feels so good to haf no next timing to meet and be so carefree!!!

In around 20 days im passing out soon!!1 (Hope i can.. LOL) cos i still haf my shooting to pass! Look forward to meeting new frens when i posted out!!!

January Movies!!!

Woooot.......... there are mani nice movies for this month of January!!! Wif my idol jay chou starring in Kungfu Dunk and the ever-funni Stephen Chow's CJ7!!! Hmmm bt cant find the chance to watch it as of yet as everyone is busy wif house-visiting. Heard from Jia Hui that Kungfu Dunk was nice so realli want to see because it's basketball!!! Haha want to see the computer graphics as well!!!

Other than the movies that released for the new year, im looking forward to watch L's movie too!!! Hmm it's 14 days away, i tink it will be an exciting show wif L having 23 days to battle his wits wif the criminal and L has lost his partner, Watari in Death Note 2, so i tink his journey to solve the case will be rather tough!!!

With a flash the zodiac cycle has began a new round as this year is the rat year again!!! Hmmm this time the new year break is long as we can get to rest for four days!!! Haha that's veri good for me as i only haf to book in on sunday! So yup i can catch up wif my shows, movies, games, animes, etc... and of cos wif my FRENS!!! so much to do before i book in again!!!

Hmmm nt sure if u all feel it so as well but i feel that this year's new year dun haf the mood as i feel that mani ppl seems pretty tired and sth is missing bt im nt sure wad it is... mayb that's bcos im in camp... hmmm this year's new yr was veri different from the previous ones as i actualli didnt haf time for spring cleaning as i juz booked out, then my hair was super short so it feels 'empty' up there and the houses i went were nt the same as mani haf moved to new houses and this year didnt enjoy much new year goodies! Missed all the new year cookies!!! Let's hope tml house-visiting will be more fun-filled and im lookin forward to see my relatives from my mum's side tml as it's been a long time!!!

As a side note, sorry for nt being able to update my blog as frequently due to time constrains and actualli there's nt much to blog abt in camp as the daily routine is more or less similar except for a few funni jokes here and there! Hmmm for those wondering where i went the past week as im nt contactable, i went for field camp and handphones are not allowed. Hmm sorry for any inconveniences caused. Oops this post should be up the last week bt as i haf to prepare for book in, i didnt manage to write this post. Haha thanks for taking the time out to accompany me for lunch last Saturday even thou mani haf other programmes after lunch!!! Haha was pretty funny as all of us shared wad they did over the holidays, wif Chanel and Meng Jiat sharing their experience at Borders, while Qin Lei shared her experience working in her mum's office and me of course talks about wad interesting things that happened in camp ! We had Delifrance which i actualli had a craving for but didn't haf the opportunity to eat it! Yea tasted the seafood croissant! It was realli nice!!!

Hmm sorry for not being able to meet u guyz this week and next week due to field camp! Hope u guyz will enjoy urselves!!!

3rd Booked Out!!!

This is my 3rd booked out from NS!!! Haha everytime it seems to be exciting and we all r super exciting when the time for our troop lift is nearing... We are all cheering while we r changing when we hear the engine of the tonners coming to fetch us!!! Haha some may feel that 'wah a few days only then can book out le ar!' but its nt as easy as it may seems and each book out is a challenge for us as we haf to complete harder tasks to secure our book out!

Hmmm this set of training is rather tiring as i did not get to slp well at nite... one reason is due to me so engross to the radio and i keep listening to wad the DJs are saying, the other is due to the cold wind in the middle of the nite!

Nevertheless it was realli fun training as i never fails to find people 'chilling out' when we are training and that's good as my platoon mates certainly noe hw to add spice to the training such that even the instructors are amazed! It is realli nice feeling when we get to relax after our training for the day!

Hmm nxt book out will be more difficult as the training gets harder each round! Jia You Ivan!!! Haha hmm looking forward to nxt wk! Heard its a long wkend!!!! Wooohoooooooooo!!! :)

With a blink of an eye we bid farewell to 2007 as we welcome the 2008!!! This year is veri much different frm previous... I didnt get to countdown as i fell alsleep while watching tv when waiting for the countdown, i nid no prepare to go to school the nxt day and i dun haf the anxious feeling of meeting new classmates this year and this year my new year will be at Tekong! Haha so its a veri much different experience!!!

2007 haf been a much hectic year since im in the J2 year and lets hope 2008 will be a realli blissful yr for me haha as there are possibly mani events that will change my life such as the Release of A Levels Results (I certainly hope i do well and go to the university i wanted to, want to break away from the previos 2 times when i cant gt to go to the school i wanted to!) as well as my BMT and my posting after the Passing Out Parade!

2008 is oso the year that i bid myself farewell as a student, so cant enjoy the mani privileges that students can enjoy such as Student Meals, Public Transport Concession rates. Haha did a rather funni tink ytd as i went to eat Mac Student Meal for breakfast and BK student meal for lunch, one of the reasons is because fastfood are rather rare in camp so haf a craving for it and oso it's the last day!!! LOL Haha not that im budget but ya its the last chance isn't it?!?

Hmm spent my this book out rather fruitful!!! Had breakfast with Lydia as i enjoyed her stories of how she spent her holidays and good luck in teaching!!! Haha went out wif 2406 peepz at the later part of the day for lunch and to catch National Treasures! It was a pretty fast-actioned movie and yup it's worth the ticket price!!! Haha as for todae, went to Meng Jiat's house to bake cookies!!! Haha this is the first time i tried baking cookies other than the other time during home econs lesson! We sort of improvise on the recipe and the second batch of the cookies turn out rather appealing!!! Haha all thanks to the efforts we all haf put in!!!

Hmm todae oso marks the end of the confinement week, according to my commanders this means the end of our honeymoon period as training starts to bcme tougher haha and oso no more night snacks other than when there is night training!!! Wish me luck and hope i can adapt to the trainings!!!

Hahaha this year's christmas is different as i haf a chance to spend it in Tekong as i haf to book in at nite on Christmas!!! But the good tink is that i haf a leave todae!!! Haha so i gt to spend 23rd,24th and half of 25th wif my family and frens!!! Haha

Met up wif Jia Hui and Simon but Jia Hui haf to go off realli soon after meeting us to meet another fren. Went to play LAN wif simon haha it was a rather close fight as we haf exhausted most of our troops b4 the time was up.

At Aunt's House - Day 1

It was 4am. My family were probably preparing to go to the airport. It was 5am. The plane was preparing to take off. And, yup my family went on a Taiwan/Hong Kong trip. Due to my enlistment day clashing wif my tour date, i'm unable to tag along wif my family for the trip, so im stayin at my aunt's house before going to NS.

Was shocked when i woke up todae as it was near 11am. Didn't realise it was so late already as in my cousin room, it was still dark due to the curtains covering the window. Haha everytink was much pretty the same at home so i could adapt to it easily and my Grandma, aunt, uncle and cousin were veri accomodatin as well.

NS is nearing... I do tink its quite scary due to the mani uncertainties about it, some say its veri easy, while others are saying its so tough... guess i haf to experience it myself...

Met some of the 2406 peepz today!!! We initially tot of going to the MIND Cafe at Dhoby Ghaut, but after a drenched walk to the cafe due to the heavy rain, we found out that the cafe was fully booked -_-'' *Make me feel realli guilty when Crystal keeps saying thank you ivan when we can't find a place in the cafe* Sorry guyz... Hmm we learnt that there is another branch nearby, so Simon decided to reserve there while we make our way there! As we are not sure of the location of the place, we went there by taxi!!! However, the taxi driver was not certain of the location of the cafe, thus we ended up in Circular Road!!! LOL Erm luckily we went not realli that far from the cafe and we met up wif Simon and Glenn who took the next taxi and we continue lookin for the cafe! After some time searching, we finally managed to reach the cafe!!!

It was realli huge!!! I think there's 3 levels to the cafe and we played at the second level... We started off wif Mad Gab which was the one I played wif Meng Jiat & Chanel they all... Haha i purposely chose the game cos to sabo crystal.. haha she was like talking funni todae! LOL

Ohhh then I happened to saw 'Deal Or No Deal' haha and i asked them to teach me play as I never had a chance to catch the show on TV! LOL Crystal was the funniest as she tends to lose like every bit of her money as a Banker!!! Oops...

Golden Compass Movie Outing with Chanel, Qin Lei, Meng Jiat & Yan See 061207

Haha the girls initially tot of watching 'Enchanted', however as that timeslot was almost filled, they decided to watch 'Golden Compass' instead!!! Haha as i happened to watch both alr.. i decided to read the book that i brought along!!! It was a thrilling book wif familiar terms as it revolves around science vs religion and i'm amazed by how the writer can make references to mani evidences to support his point and these examples are from our daily lives, such as a symbol in American dollar note had sort of a hidden meaning to it.

Later, i met up with Chanel, Yan See & Qin Lei, while Meng Jiat went to watch the next movie 'Heo' with her cousin! We chatted about the movie as while as on other topics! We then went to haf a walk and Chanel & Qin Lei bought Takoyaki!!! It looks realli delicious haha bt the price erm... haha ya a bit steep ar!!! Hehe

We also went to Breadtalk as Yan See was a little hungry and we saw mani Christmas breads... i personally feel that the snowman bread was veri cute haha which is made of one big 'mantou' with a small 'mantou'!!! -_-'' Ohhh and breadtalk had a gingerbread man doll that me and Chanel mistaken as bread. Haha! It was a joy-filled day!!! :P

Golden Compass Movie Outing 051207

Haha my two sweetest juniors asked me out todae to Plaza Singapura to catch a movie!!! Initially we intended to watch 'Hero' but somehow it turned into watching 'Golden Compass'!!! It was a nice show with mani battle scenes that is something like the Narnia!!!

Haha one tink i learnt from the movie is that witches uses bow and arrows!!! LOL

Ohh we sort of exchange presents todae tink haha even though it isn't christmas yet... Haha i receive my belated birthday gift (picture below) and also i bought them puzzles each!!! Haha to thank them for remembering my birthda y and also to Nadine for her belated birthday!!!

We went to have lunch at Pizza Hut, and i ordered 1 Aloha pizza! It was realli nice... somehow this pizza seemed to taste better!!! After the movie, we went to Pasta Mania where they had pasta for dinner, while me had something light - Tiramisu!

Still recalled how we actualli met... Hmm i was their tour guide for their group and we went around, with me introducing the school to them during Orientation. I tink they rememberd me as i asked them to rmb the locations of all the photocopy machines in the school!! Phooof.... we noe each other... haha sometimes i feel that my life a bit drama de as i meet people in unique ways!

Salsa Fever Dinner & Dance 2007 041207

Haha had our Graduation Dinner & Dance, which is themed 'Salsa Fever' at Marriot Hotel!!! Hmmm it's the one event that mani of the J2s are looking forward after the A levels as we get to doll up to look handsome for the boys & pretty for the girls!!!

It was a realli funni nite with the emcee cracking jokes and suaning other people!!! Haha some of them are imprinted on my memory, like 'The grand prize for the lucky draw is a sports car - it has the cover of a Ferrari and the engine of Porche and it's called Ferrero Roche!' -_-'' & 'Ur shirt looks realli nice, it's like my tablecloth'!!! Haha & also I was volunteered to play Scavenger's Hunt, but this time is not the ones i usually play, it was so dotz ar... such as having to put a 10 cent coin on the left ear, and a $5 on the right ear, the worst... tying another person's socks around my neck... 0.0 Bt it was i great exp thou, considering i was always saboing people when we played this during scouts!!! Ohhh i heard that someone actualli forgot to take out the 10 cent on her ear until the prom is over!!! Haha

Hmm one of the main highlights was probably the lucky draw... the prizes were realli attractive, including starbucks, coffeebean vouchers, ipod shuffle and 80G ipod!!! Though i didn't win any of it but was glad that 2 people out of our class won!!!

On dec 4th, the veri day is also our principal's birthday!!! & also 2 NYJCians!! Of which, one is my council friend, she even said she was excited that the school is celebrating wif her!!! Haha

Ohhh we took lotsa photos that day too!!! Haha i took like 100s!!! Haha and we danced at the front stage too!!! It's was exciting as the whole class decided to went on stage to dance!!!

Prom is around the corner as time is moving me closer towards Dec 4!!! Now its like having a mixed feeling as im excited to go to the prom as i can see mani dressed in glam clothings and it will be an eye-opener for me as we usually see each other in school uniform, but also a little scared as I never been to a Prom before, unlike mani who haf experience in their secondary school life...

Nevertheless, this will be a good opportunity for NYJCians to gather before each of us setting off for our own endeavors! Will cherish the time tml and im lookin forward to it!!! :D

Malaysia Trip 1st Dec 2007

Hmmm went to Malaysia for a day trip!!! Haha it was quite sudden as my family decided to go Malaysia since all of us are free...

We went to a relatively far place (around 1 and a half hour ride) to a Chinese Restuarant that serve realli nice food there for lunch... after that, we went to sort of like Singapore's Har Par Villa site of attraction to see the zodiac statues as well as a lot of turtles in the pond!

After that we went to Jusco, and catch a movie-Enchanted!!! Haha it was realli nice where there is a fusion of 2D animations, 3D animations and also real-life acting so it's a fresh idea and a nice plot as the script writer is able to fused mani of the fairytales together!!! We also went to haf a walk in the shopping centre, before proceeding home... It was a fulfilling trip indeed!

29th Student Council Dinner @ Glasshouse

Haha this is the first time i went to the Glasshouse, and also on the contrary of mani, noe wad glasshouse is and it's also the first time i haf tasted Fish & Co. too!!! Haha so it was an eye-opener for me!!! Once i set foot inside the restaurant, i feel the cozy ambiance and a small stage for a live band performance!

Had great fun catching up wif the mani councillors that attended as we move from seats to seats to mingle wif other people along the SUPER long table of near 40 people!!! It was a realli long time since the council has gathered!

I also enjoyed the great music played by the band, and also joking wif my fellow councillors and the council teachers!!!

Went to Breeks @ Marina Square on 24th Nov for College's Image & Bonding Committee Senior/Junior Dinner!!! It's the first time i went to Breeks and know what Breeks is! Haha the food are tasty and i find that the price is not too steep too! It's been a realli lot time since CIB members meet, not to mention us seeing our juniors!!! Haha

Hmm was a bit down when i found out that CIB chairman did not make it to J2, so CIB had one less member but i was also glad to see the achievements that had made and the change that they had initiated in the school! Hmm The One 2008 is coming and so does Orientation!!! I wish u all good luck!!! Jiayou 30th SC!!!

After our last paper, most of the 0635 people went to the MIND Cafe. It's a cafe where u can eat and play the board games available. I was astonished as there are like around 4 cabinets of board games, ranging from the more 'ancient' ones like monopoly, to those that are more modern like Da Vinci background. Other than us, there are also people from other schools and the place was filled with laughter, discussions and some random screams (especially when the UNO stacko falls). Realli had fun as I had first hand experience on mani of the games that i never encountered before, such as the Mad Gab, where u haf to pronounce the words on the card and ur partner will haf to guess the exact words that u r saying. Haha bt the game i liked the most is 'Taboo' as it reminds me of my first 3 months when Ms Abraham brought this game for the class to play during CT period.

This drink is realli hard-earned as I haf to go to every table and tell each of the people that "It's my birthday today!" before I can haf this drink on the house! Haha thanks to Lydia as I challenged her if she can shake hand with the next person coming out of the toilet and say ' U took a long time inside, are u having a shower?' and she realli did it!!! That's realli brave! When I approached the people at the tables, it feels so funni as the people just stared blankly into u...

Haha after that, we went to catch a movie at The Cathay. The boys and the girls spilt, with the girls watching Enchanted, while the boys watched Beowolf... Hmmm didn't realli liked the show... but the girls enjoyed enchanted. Hope i haf the chance to watch it!!!

Overall, realli liked this outing as we had a well-deserved rest after the As and it is not easy for 0635 people to clicked together and go out together!!!

Hmmm finished my second last A level paper today - H2 Biology Paper 3. Hmmm veri soon... the clock will tick and thursday will come.... it will be the last day i wear my uniform to NY and do a paper! Im having mixed feelings nw... on one hand i can haf the 'freedom' to do more leisure tinks and can rest my mind from academic work, but on the other, i will mess the hectic life of RUSHING - Rushing of tutorials, rushing to eat, rushing to complete studying for a test or rushing to go out as time was real precious... now everytink seems to b of a slower pace le and everytink will change...

Looking back.. 2 years ago... i was in secondary school, my social circle was small... i do not noe mani nice people that i haf met today... those that haf help me in my school work, those that lent me a listening year, my working partners in CCAs, and frens that i haf met in some 'drama' way or another... tinking of it 2 years was realli a flash to me! Thanks to those that i haf gave troubles to, including those who stayed beside me and b my 'punching bob' when i am down and will nt be angry at why i scolded at them! Thanks a lot!!!

Hmm i haf around a month left before NS enlistment, i realli wnt to make the veri best use of the time i haf left... to complete tinks i want to do.... to play like never before!!!

'Don't wake up and feel yesterday was wasted' - This is wad i heard from a show... i hope that i can do that and realli cherish every day i haf!!!

Hmmm juz took my econs paper ytd.... was initially kinda confident for it cos i tink subjects that involve writing or maybe those that are not so hard and fast topics ( like those that can use a bit of general knowledge de) i can do better... But after doing the paper i was like veri worried... i tink i could have written more, there are more tinks to add to my answer... but didnt haf time to write...

I tink i stumbled for both papers that i haf the most confidence in... my GP and Econs... tot can depend on them to pull my grades up... bt nw i less confident about it... ...

Hmm let my frens say i haf to move on... i cant change my answers now.... as it is on its way to England for marking... all i can do for econs is to hope for the veri best and work hard on the rest of my oncoming papers!!! Jia You!!!

Dad's Birthday!

Haha today's my Dad's birthday... haha woke up rather early to prepare a gift for my dad... initially plan to do the nite b4 but scared he woke up suddenly and see me doing it then miss the fun le! Haha made a Dharma Doll entirely from A4 Paper... Haha it's more difficult than i expected it to be!!

A little introduction to harma Doll: In Japan, red and white are considered lucky and are the usual colors used for a Dharma doll. U can make dolls of different colours based on the nature of your wish and your lucky color. The color red is said to have the power to promote vitality and bring good luck. It should be used to bring victory in work, study or love, etc.

Haha then sang birthday song and eat the cake. It's coffee cake!!! - My Dad's Must Have Drink Everyday!!! We then prepare and went to The Atrium @ Orchard for Sakae Buffet!!! YEA!!! Super Happi cos can 'Da Kai Sha Jie' haha i ate around 20 plates ba....

Hmm this remind me of my sec sch life as a bunch of us went to Sakae to celebrate Ignatius's Birthday... Haha we ate like around 100+ plates ba... imagine order like 20+ takoyaki at one.. poor chef...

Phew.... i had endured through the tedious Biology and Maths Papers!!! Haha the day before i juz was that one day will juz skip by and im done with the papers!!! It was realli stressful to handle both biology and maths together!!! One is the subject im real weak in and the other is the subject i wanted to do well in cos i realli like bio!!!

Haha was quite contented all least i attempted all the questions in bio paper 2 and maths paper 2, haha most of the time i will have questions blank as i do nt know how to tackle those questions. But this time i guess i realli throw in eveytink i got and write much faster than previous times!

Hmmm however im still worried for my results. A Levels = Make or Break... It was especially scary when many feel that the papers are veri easy...

The final battle is nearing... 3 more days to prepare myself... it's realli now or never!!! Realli want to do my best so that i can attain the desired grades and also prove that i can do it... i stumbled in the PSLE and the O Levels... It will definitely NOT be so this time. This time is realli super challenging so yup must concentrated and not feel that i haven study enof for the exams!!! So yup i can do it!!! YESH!!!

Haha recently all my idols just released their albums -_-'' Poor me gotta like spend money at one shot to buy their albums!!! I guess i will be waiting for the next version of their albums before i buy... Haha i think by then will give more things so more worth! LOL

Haha first up with F.I.R!!! Hmm heard their album alr... initially like nt realli nice cos its a bit noisy, but after listening to a few times i tink its quite good with them attempting different styles of music!

Then next up its a shocking surprise by Jay with his cowboy song!!! Realli unbelievable!!!

Finally, it's Jolin! Hmm want to see her MV Movie... kinda creative idea to shoot a movie from her songs... hope to see it soon!

Haha today was a happi day!!! Received quite a few tinks during sch!!!

Firstly is the most anticipated Prelims result slip!!! Haha since i haven post my grades here... i shall do it... I gt:
B for Economics
C for General Paper
C for Biology
C for Chemistry
C for Mathematics
LOL... the most funni one C for PE (wonder how they calculate the grade and percentile for PE?!?)

Hmm although it may seems okie... but i tink i still gt a long way to go and lots to learn from my friends as they are starting to score As and Bs alr!!! So i cant be stationary here as well!!! Haha the happy tink is that i gt 98.5 percentile for GP!!! Yea!!! Hmm but muz work harder so as to not let Miss Peh down! Gotta work harder and harder to get my As in the As!!! (haha gt it?)

The next tink i gt was the album page done by Ratna! It was realli nice!!! Haha i bet she realli put in lotsa efforts in doing the page! It was full of glitter and ya, colourful! Hmm she gave me a task too! To find out wad the Korean words she wrote means! Shall go and ask ppl wad it means!!! Haha

The last tink i received todae was a graduation gift! It was realli cute haha as it was a signboard to teach one how to release stress! Here's the instructions: (u can try it too! HIGHLY ENCOURAGED)
1. Place the signboard on firm surface
2. Follow instructions in circles (Bang Head Here)
3. Repeat Step 2 as necessary, or until unconcious
4. If unconcious, cease stress reduction activity

Haha as todae is Children's Day, Ivan decided to give the class something!!! *Drum Roll* Haha i gave out souvenirs that i haf made to my classmates... actualli wanted to give on Graduation Ceremony... but they are at my room for 1 week alr... so can't stand the temptation to give them out and c wad will my classmates' expressions be like!!! Haha some received a CD containing a short video clip i made, while sme recieve a photo! Haha hope my video creating skills are not too bad ar.. cos realli nvr use Windows Movie Maker for this kinda tink b4.. but hope u all do like it!

Haha it was realli heart-warming to receive sms that they like the presents!!! Haha that realli makes me glad too!! Haha nvr tot that i will be so happi juz by seeing that my frens are happi oso!!! haha

This is a story i heard from the radio... i find it pretty interesting!!!

One day, a boy asked his father, a professor, to play wif him but as he is busy wif the preparation for lecture materials the next day, he is unable to do so. After some whining from his son, he flip a magazine that is nearby and torn out a page wif a world map printed on it. He then torn the map into many small pieces and told the boy he can piece them back. The boy did so. The professor was relieved that he can finally prepare his materials.

After 5 minutes, the boy came back and told the professor he had finished piecing the world map back. The professor was amazed at the boy's speed and asked him how he managed to do that. The boy said behind the world map was a picture of a man and he pieced it based on the picture of the map. He added if the picture of the man is correct, the world man will be too. The professor was happy as this made him realised that if the man is correct, his world will be too! therefore if one has a positive attitude, he world will be positive too!

Post Prelims

Hahaha finally finished the 2 weeks of battle wif prelims!!! Went to kbox at amk... Hmm as it is only opened at 11am... we went to amk hub for a walk before going bac to kbox... went to see the 'Tomato' shop and also spent much of our time in MJ multimedia seeing cds and vcds..

Went for K lunch... hmm the food was nt nice tis time... and it's realli Antarctica there.... freezing cold.... Hmm but enjoyed listening to the rest of my classmates singing!!! Haha it's realli rare to hear ur classmates sing, isn't it? Lol Chanel sing loudly tis time too!!!

Hmm after singing til 320pm... we parted and i went to Orchard to meet my 1st 3 months friends! Haha watched 'No Reservations' together!!! It's a realli heart-warming show... i guess the 'classical' moment is when a food critic ordered a rare steak... and he kept complaining that it is not rare enof and the chef use a fork wif raw beef on it and stick it on the dining table of the food critic... that was realli hilarious! Hmm we then went for dinner... as they are quite full, we went to Mac... it's so difficult to find a place there!!! It so crowded everywhere... even the resturants!!! Swenson was full house and also Ajisen too!

Hmm was quite worried for my prelims... this time was realli not confident... feel bad for chem and maths. Chemistry did so careless mistakes even though i know the answer... for maths, hmm cant concentrare for paper 2.... sobz... hopefully the results are to my expectations! Realli want to do well this time!!! I want to fulfill my promise to myself!

Teachers' Day

After much persuasion by my juniors to go bac AI at the bus stop... i decided to go bac to AI to see my teachers... Hmm was denied entry to the school by the security guard but we decided to go by the back door and managed to enter the school... hmm as my sec school end at 10+, when i reached there at ard 11, most of the tchers haf alr left.... then i saw some of my frens ard the sch and we went bac to our old classrm to see... hmm the sch is like so diff now... it seems so strange to me despite studyin there for 4 years!!! Hmm then was glad to see so mani of my ex-classmates in the class too!!! Hahaha didnt know they were coming... But they still r the same!!! except.... Was kinda shocked to see Ignatius hair style thou... he rebonded his hair and look like a rock star! He initially thought that he can boast abt his new hair style but in the end was suan by us... LOL

haha end up having e2 lamers gathering instead of seeing the teachers!!!

Went to Northpoint BK to eat as we talk about how our new school life is like!!! Haha after that some of them went to play pool but didnt managed to join as haf to go out wif my family later!!! Haha but was real glad to see so mani of my classmates!!!

Ooops know this is quite late to post this as this happened on last Sat, but somehow it just slipped off my mind... (Devil says: haha guess was too engrossed in doing work)(Angel says:YA RITE!!?!)

Okie here's a guide on how to create snow in Singapore, proudly presently by Meng Jiat:

1st: Find a victim and find 2 strips of Styrofoam
Rub the 2 strips of Styrofoam against each other on the victim (U can start to see the effect)

Dang Dung!!! There u haf it!!! Snow in Spore!!! LOL

Look at what stress did to some people!!! Haha no lah actualli we were making Teachers' Day presents for the various teachers... We make personalised mugs for all the teachers and also things associated with the subject our teacher is teaching, example scatter diagram for our Math teacher and phylogenetic tree for our bio teachers!!! Hmm spent the sat afternoon doing the presents!!! But i enjoyed it... haha for me drawing so mani STRAIGHT lines for the phylogenetic tree!!! LOL finally realised u nid skills to even draw straight lines!!!

Hmm having me study leave now... till wednesday before my prelims starts... it's realli scary to see how time flies... the blocktest has juz pass, then the midyears, in a flash, it's the prelims, and soon in 62 days, will b A levels...

There's one chance for me to make it right, especially for my maths... i will make it and NOT break it!!!

Hmm now my work is piling real HIGH!!! Gotta clear them all!!! Going to consult GP and Maths tml! Hmm will spend and manage my time well and learn from my mid years!!! This is a promise to myself!!! :D YESH!!!

Scenerio: Are the young prepared to lead Singapore into the 21st century?

Haha given this essay question how will u write it?

Here's how my GP tutor will do it:

Quote:

Saw all 3 of my classes today....shall blog about them the same way that they blog about teachers (albeit in better English and with more in-depth evaluation)

AQ question: Passage 1 suggests reasons why the young are prepared to lead Singapore into the 21st century. To what extent do you agree?

Main quote from passage: "Youths today are prepared because they are inquisitive, innovative and have the ability to think critically"

Stand: I agree to a large extent because the writer gives an objective and logical argument

Quote 1: "Youths are inquisitive"
E.g.: Gp D - gossipy => spent 15 min asking abt my salary (happy guessing!) and gossiping about single sex schools
Evaluation: They are resourceful and able to conduct research and gather information (esp gossip) for themselves. This is necessary to ensure that Singapore continues to be at the forefront of R&D

Quote 2: "Youths have the ability to think critically"
E.g.: Gp E - perpetual look of awe when I mention things for the 10th time. Probably applies to all the rest as well, just more obvious in this class today => spent 15 min trying to convince me that I've never talked to them about Aung San Suu Kyi before (do I see question marks appearing over the heads of my other students??). At other times they just like to divert my attention to other non-GP matters (e.g. testing my hearing)
Evaluation: They are able to discern between right and wrong in a world that is dominated by media and constantly bombards people with information (esp info that has been repeated a million times). They are also able to make informed choices and decisions (such as whether they shld allow the teacher to continue her lesson) that will continue to ensure Singapore's success.

Quote 3: "Youths are innovative"
Gp H - cannot give out/collect handouts properly => spent 15 min trying to make sure that 23 people (gasp! so many!!) receive the same handouts. There are always some hidden papers lying under someone's file or bag that can be blamed on some phantom visiting student
Evaluation: They are able to find new and creative ways to solve problems (as well as create problems, such as finding different ways to lose their handouts)

Implications - Although youths today possess strong qualities to lead Singapore into the 21st century, they need to ensure that they cultivate compassion (e.g. allowing the teacher finish going through essay outlines in peace) and cultural intelligence (e.g. understand why the teacher has no choice but to be naggy and mean after marking essays/AQs where the word 'extent' is still spelt wrongly after 2yrs).

Conclusion - Youths today are indeed ready to lead Singapore into the 21st century (Hmm...which country shall I migrate to after retirement...NZ, Canada, Antartica?)

Hmmm i bet u haf notice that the background music of my blog has turned classical!!! Hahaha not trying to act high-class but recently watched this movie by Jay Chou - Bu Neng Shuo De Mi Mi (Secret). It was realli nice but was a little short thou, but my attention was stuck to the screen for the whole time. A chill was sent down my spine in the middle of the movie when there was a sudden twist in the story... haha i guess for those who haf watched u wil understand but for those who have not... it's a secret!!! Haha no lah but u should go and watch, it's pretty interesting! Haha i can also see the people in the cinema all like 'huh!!!' during the twist, like it's a common consensus! Guess this shows how surprising the twist is!!!

Haha the background music is called 'Secret', which is the song that is core to the movie!!! It was realli amazing to see Jay playing this song in the movie!!! It was realli 'WOW!!!' with all the fingerings and switching of hands on the keyboard!!! For those who have watched the movie hope u like it!!! For those haven't, try to take some time and watch! :)

National Day Celebration

Went to school todae for National Day celebration!!! Haha we are allowed to dress in red todae and so most of our class people wore our red adidas class tee to the event!!!

The concert started off wif the pugilistic society having a lion dance!!!

The highlignt of the event, on top of the cultural dance by the different ethnic groups, is probably singing by PSS 2 Nat and Campus Superstar Javin wif the duo '末日之恋'

Next up, wif a solo by Nat, '爱爱爱' and a little showcase of dance

Haha was actualli tinking of going home straight aft the celebration, then tot of having to go lunch first, so went to MOS burger for lunch. Then tot of going to the arcade to race as will usually do so to challenge myself, so called one of my 1st 3 months fren, Simon, along as he like to play oso! Haha to my surprise, he called my other frens along too, Jia Hui and Yu Ling!!! Haha was so happy!!! Thank You Simon!!! Haha was like tinkin that they wil go out wif their classmates, so dun dare to ask them along. Hmm realli veri long nvr meet le! Wonder when can we haf another 2406 outing, dying to see how the rest are doing!!!

Went to the arcade... Hahaha played Bishi Bashi, Yu Ling was realli good as thou all the tasks she can do without tinking!!! For me i struggled to differentiate and press between the red, blue and green buttons to correspond to the requirements of the game. We then played time crisis and Daytona! The boys then went to play our all-time favourite- Initial D!!! haha tried the stage 4 , which was termed as 'luxury good' by Simon as each game cost $2! The girls went on wif Para Para!!! Sobz nvr gt the chance to see them dance!!

Realli was a pleasant surprise today and i realli enjoyed myself!!! Haha hope to meet my 'Emperor' clique again reali soon!!! Haha nxt time muz hu jia (protect the emperor) okie!!!

Phew... it has been a rather long week for me as I haf to struggle to complete my tutorials as all of the subject tutors are picking up speed and stepping up on revision tutorials, especially Chemistry. Hmm haf to attempt prelim questions from other JCs and the ones picked by the teachers are so TOUGH!!! They are realli challenging ones where u haf to twist and turn ur brain in order to find the answer.

Went out wif simon, my first 3 month friend... Haha intended to treat him the previous time as he bought me a Disney Dale multi-purpose holder from Hong Kong DisneyLand, but did not bring enough money, so haf to postpone it to today... Had Mac wif him as we share about our lives in our respective JC... quite fun to hear from him!!!

Hmm on a sidenote... hmm there's inflation in MacDonald's... the student meal is much more ex... and the food size is getting smaller... sobz... 7% increase indeed...
