College's Image & Bonding Committee Dinner

After half of my council term in College's Image & Bonding Committee after the reform, when i took part in the planning of mani events, we were finally rewarded by our Teacher-in-Charge, Mr. Sequeira!!! Haha we went to New York New York at City Link for our dinner!!!

Haha it was realli cool as we are the 29th Student Council and we had our dinner on the 29th May, haha and the other tink was 29th as well, guess guess... tel u later!!!

Haha we decided to go play pool at the pool table located within the restaurant itself, while waiting for our desserts, they are just simply skilful...:


After that, some of the girls bring June to the toilet while we prepare for the surprise!!! Her bdae is on 1st June, thats y her name is June, she was shocked as she didnt expect us to celebrate her bdae today!! :

After our meals, we talked for a while, Quelyn and Wei Hao went to take Candy Floss as it was free.... Haha as we took too much, we decided to 'experiment' wif it. We wanted to see wad will happen to the candy floss when contacted wif water... so we put it in a strawberry delight!!! LOL :p

St James Power Station Dragonfly Tea Dance

As our school performing arts CCA have achieved good results for the syf and some other CCAs have outstanding achievements also, the school have invited us to St James Power House, which is a club as a way to reward our efforts. People invitied consists of Band, CO, Gu Zheng, Chinese Cultural Society, Dance, Choir, VolleyBall, Table Tennis and Student Council.


Haha below u can experience the atmosphere of the place:


Veri cool rite? Was like a once in a life time experience, as by right, the girls can only enter at 18 and the boys at 23, ut since our school book the place we were allowed to enter. Haha at there, I learnt and played chai quan and also danced a lot. Haha nvr realize so mani of my fellow classmates can dance that well. It was so different, between them in school and there.

1) Haha I may be emo at times... but was like thinking of other things so will be quiet...

2) Sometimes when it is too noisy... I will want to be in a quiet place, but when i'm in a quiet place, i will want to be surrounded by sounds and be as crazy as them... Hmm contradicting rite?

3) I get to noe people in weird ways... Like veri drama de lor... For example:

a) When taking a look at the photos i haf taken for an event, the same person will smehow like appear in these pictures... Scary rite?
b) Met people on the bus and started to chat with each other, after that when going off we were like bumping to each other for mani times, we ended up saying bye to each other for like 10 mins? -.-''
c) People on the bus ask me while i so funni always so cheery de... then gt to noe each other... LOL

4) Don't like to drink milk... Since young i stopped drinking milk like after 1 month + after I was born? Haha weird rite? Like i myself wil say dun wnt to drink milk but instead like to eat a lot of canned baby food, which is veri ex, and im not tired of eating them everyday...

5) I will tink of a lot of wad ifs and 'philosophical' tinks in my life... Hmm mayb thats y i can understand how ppl tink and feel...

6) I like to dream of going bac to the ancient time, being everytime i dream i will wnt to bring an invention of today back, and I will laugh at how ppl in the past wil react... Like imagine bring a TV bac and can watch the programmes, I tink the ancient ppl will like be so amazed and wil touch the TV sets here and there...

Phew... Last week was super packed with tests... been so busy with school and council work...

Monday: Biology Isolating, Cloning, Sequencing, Genetics of Viruses Test
Tuesday: Organic Chemistry Test
Wednesday: Mathematical Induction Test
Friday: Permutation & Combination, Probabiltiy, Binomial Distribution Test

Erm sccccccccccccccccaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyy... isn't it.

Hmm but realli scared cant do well for the tests cos its like realli a lot to study for and such a short time... :( Next week so scared... Later results are not good...


Hectic Friday!

Hahaha it's been a long time... Haha here it is... my SUPER BUSY Friday!!!

I had lessons till 1.30pm... after that I went to MOE CCA Hall to support the VolleyBall Boys' and Girls' Teams in the semi-finals... This is their important match as if they win they wil be fighting for the first and second position, however if they lost, they will be fighting for the third and fourth position. It was a realli thrilling match for the girls, as the girls realli fought veri hard and it was in high tension, as for every match there was a deuce... It was realli close, but our girls lost by a little in the end... However, the boys won the match with little obstructions.

After that, I followed the bus back to school and then decided to join Chanel and her junior to eat... I then went to AMK central. Had Western food... Haha then we somehow talk about how we past time and then we talk about playing in the arcade. We then thought of going to the arcade since we veri long nvr go alr. Then we played for a while and then rushed back to school for the Othello play by our English Drama and Literature Cohort, as we were running late...

Hmmm today on my way home, I met Jacqueline and Camellia at the bus stop... I was asking them how they are coping in their new classes and ya they say they are doing well! Hmmm suddenly Jacqueline said something that set me thinking...

Jacqueline: We were all initially from the same class, then now all different class le...

Hmm she said that in a joking manner, but I did not know how to reply... ya its like we are all having a common goal together but now we are separated...

Hmmmm... hope Jacqueline and Camellia can do well and stay happy!!!

Random Thoughts: Friends are people embarking on the same path as you, but when there is a split on the road, they might have to go...

Freedom Writers

Recently watched a movie 'Freedom Writers'... It was realli a veri touching story depicting a class of high school students that are linked with gangs and they don't have the motivation to study. The teacher, who is a new teacher, is determined to teach them well and make them interested in studying english and she went to the extent of taking up 3 jobs in order to supply the students with the necessary studying materials. They do not have the necessary studying materials as the school did not want their books to be damaged by them. The teacher also bought them each a notebook and they are asked to write an entry everyday, if the students like, they can put it in a locker and allow the teacher to see. Much to the teacher's amazement, the next day, her locker is full, she took time to read each of the journals and found out that they have lost at least one friend due to gang violence, and there are caused due to race conflicts. However, the teacher never gave up and continued to work 3 jobs so as to allow them to go study trips and the students were veri touched by her and started to change for the better. In the end, the teacher followed them till graduation from High School and move on to University with them.

At the end of the movie, i realized that this is actualli a real story... It was realli touching and made me feel that we should not be complacent with the peace we have today.

Hahaha... here comes Friday!!! And it means............................. Oiishi Day!!! Haha cos Oiishi in my school will be selling fried food for the day!!! That means Temperu and chicken cutlet! Yea!!! Cant wait to savour the food!!! :P
