Freedom Writers

Recently watched a movie 'Freedom Writers'... It was realli a veri touching story depicting a class of high school students that are linked with gangs and they don't have the motivation to study. The teacher, who is a new teacher, is determined to teach them well and make them interested in studying english and she went to the extent of taking up 3 jobs in order to supply the students with the necessary studying materials. They do not have the necessary studying materials as the school did not want their books to be damaged by them. The teacher also bought them each a notebook and they are asked to write an entry everyday, if the students like, they can put it in a locker and allow the teacher to see. Much to the teacher's amazement, the next day, her locker is full, she took time to read each of the journals and found out that they have lost at least one friend due to gang violence, and there are caused due to race conflicts. However, the teacher never gave up and continued to work 3 jobs so as to allow them to go study trips and the students were veri touched by her and started to change for the better. In the end, the teacher followed them till graduation from High School and move on to University with them.

At the end of the movie, i realized that this is actualli a real story... It was realli touching and made me feel that we should not be complacent with the peace we have today.
